Finding your perfect VIBAe fit is easier than it looks — and worth it. Here’s how:

Measure your feet as described in the instructions and compare the results with the chart to find your correct EU size. All sizes are unisex.
Tip: Use your regular shoe size as a quick reference — it should match fairly closely if your measurements are correct.

Select a brand whose sizing you already know, and the tool will show your matching VIBAe size.
About the fit and feel
VIBAe shoes are handmade from vegetable-tanned, chromium-free leather, a natural, breathable, and planet-friendly material that truly moulds to your feet.
While most leather shoes are made with chromium-tanned leather, produced in just one day and harmful to the environment, our leather takes eight days to tan using oak bark, chestnut, and other natural tannins — no harmful chemicals, just patience and craftsmanship.
So, what does that mean for you?
Shoes with character — uniquely yours.
The leather starts off soft and only gets softer with time. It may have a slightly “wrinkled” look at first — that’s not wear, that’s authenticity. We’ve even had customers mistake this natural texture for signs of use!
As you wear them, the leather will gently stretch up to half a size, forming perfectly to the shape of your feet. For that reason, we recommend a snug fit to start — no need to leave extra toe space like with stiffer, chrome-tanned leather shoes.
A looser fit would stop the Carbon Step™ footbed and the leather from working together to give you that perfect, moulded feel.
In short: snug is good. Your shoes will soon feel like they were made just for you.
Special sizing notes
High arches? If the shoes feel tight at first, wear them with thick wool socks for a few hours (you can even wear your ZUMAs with the heel folded down). The leather will adapt quickly.
Half sizes: We don’t make half sizes, but if you’re between two, or prefer wearing thick socks, take the larger one.
Different materials: ZUMA Linen also stretches with use. If they become too loose, a gentle 30°C wash in a laundry bag will bring them back to shape.
Quick fit check
When trying them on for the first time, it’s OK if your foot fills the insole completely from heel to toe.
You can test this by taking out the insole and standing on it — if your foot fits neatly within it, that’s your size.

We know that choosing the right size can feel like a big decision.
But trust yourself — you know your feet best.
And remember: if the size isn’t perfect, an exchange is always possible (even if it’s not our favourite option, thinking of shipping and the planet).
