How do I care for my shoes?Updated 4 hours ago

Leather

Care and protection:
Protect your leather shoes from moisture by using a protective spray regularly (preferably an environmentally friendly one).
When needed, treat the leather with our 100% organic leather cream or any other high-quality conditioner to keep it soft and supple.

Aging and patina:
Leather naturally develops a beautiful patina over time, adding character and depth.
Beeswax and sunlight will darken the leather gradually — it’s part of its natural charm.

Footbed care:
Our Carbon Step™ footbeds are antibacterial, so there’s no need to wash them.
If needed, you can gently hand wash the suede cover with mild soap and water.
Footbeds can also be replaced with new Carbon Step™ replacement insoles when worn out.

Bio Suede

Cleaning:
Brush your shoes lightly with a soft suede brush to remove dust and surface dirt.
Brushing also helps restore the nap of the suede, keeping it soft and vibrant.
Avoid soaking the shoes — suede should not be directly exposed to water.

Protection:
Use a suede protector spray regularly to guard against moisture and stains.

Storage and footbed care:
If your shoes get wet, fill them with newspaper and let them dry at room temperature, away from direct sunlight or heat sources.
Store your shoes in a breathable shoe bag in a cool, dry place to maintain their shape and prevent moisture build-up.
The Carbon Step™ footbeds are antibacterial and do not require washing, but you can wipe the suede surface gently with a damp cloth if needed.

Shearling

Cleaning:
Spot clean stains with a damp cloth and mild soap.
If necessary, you can hand wash them in cold (30°C) water using a gentle detergent.
Do not machine wash or tumble dry.
Shape the slippers while damp and let them dry naturally at room temperature, away from direct sunlight.

Care:
Brush occasionally with a soft textile brush to keep the wool fluffy and fresh.

Note:
Real sheepskin is naturally self-cleaning, breathable, and odour-resistant, so frequent washing isn’t necessary.
